Geralyn Sheridan is a long-time fan of MJSA’s annual Mystery Box Challenge. “I was always really amazed by how metalsmiths with the same tools and materials [create items that] are completely different,” she says. She’d look at past projects and think that she would never have come up with those designs. “I’m impressed by the creativity.”
That’s one of the reasons why she didn’t hesitate when asked to participate in this year’s challenge. Not only was she looking forward to seeing what her fellow designers created with the same materials, she also “thought it would be fun.”
