Air quality is a vital concern for any craft that generates dust. When working at the bench, the rotational direction of power tools such as flex-shafts tends to blow that dust straight into the jeweler’s face. Compounding that, jewelers often have their faces quite close to their work. That is the very definition of an air quality/workplace health problem.
