Paying tribute to the Santa Fe Symposium

As the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end.” It’s certainly a sentiment that now applies to the Santa Fe Symposium. When it was announced late last year that the next symposium would also be the last, many in the industry were shocked and saddened by the news. And it’s easy to understand why: Since its founding in 1986, the noncommercial symposium had been a truly collaborative environment where attendees could freely share ideas and explore new jewelry-making techniques.
