Columbia Gem House – Calibrated Lightning Ridge Opal

Sourced from the Winza region and surrounding mining areas in central Tanzania, this collection includes sapphires and rubies known for their vibrant color and clarity. The stones are completely untreated and offered in a wide range of colors, including vivid pinks, saturated purples, fuchsia, padparadscha, and true ruby. Many examples show natural bicolor zoning within a single crystal, producing combinations of red and blue and, in some cases, kaleidoscopic “cotton candy” effects. The initial release features rounds, baguettes, pears, and marquise shapes in calibrated sizes up to 4.5 mm along with select, larger, one-of-a-kind stones.
