Otto Frei – Agilo Cabshine Flex Cup Diamond Polishing Wheel Kit

Developed in Switzerland and tested by lapidary artists and jewelers, the Agilo Cabshine Flex Cup wheels are intended for polishing cabochons, rounded stones, and carved surfaces. The cup form makes it possible to reach into narrow or curved areas, and they can be used on both soft and hard stones such as coral, lapis, turquoise, amethyst, aquamarine, ruby, tourmaline, quartz, topaz, and others. The wheels can also remove abrasions and scratches from stones already set in jewelry, prepare cabochons before setting, or smooth thin or rough edges. Recommended operation speeds are between 2,000 and 7,000 rpm, and crosswise polishing (first side to side, then top to bottom) produces the best results. Because the diamond surface may round facets, care is advised when working with faceted stones. The kit includes one wheel in each grit: medium, medium-fine, fine, and extra-fine.
