Master Jewelers/Bench Jewelers
Long's Jewelers (Peabody, Braintree, and Boston, Massachusetts)
We are seeking experienced master jewelers and bench jewelers who excel at the design, production and repair of fine jewelry. Ideal candidates will have expert knowledge of bench work, precious metals, and gemstones, with a focus on custom jewelry and repairs. Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work to a high standard with limited oversight.

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work with all metals, including 14K, 18K, platinum and sterling silver.
- Master level skillset with torch with laser experience preferred.
- Ability to complete up to 20 repairs daily, in addition to the shared maintenance and general upkeep of the shop.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to use sound judgment to arrive at the best outcome based on the information at hand.
- Ability to interact with external and internal customers.
- CAD experience a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Setting stones in prongs and bezels, including fancy shaped stones.
- Bead, pinpoint, and flush setting.
- Re-tipping and rebuilding prongs.
- Creating stone settings.
- Replacing stones in damaged and worn items.
- Performing channel rebuilds.
- Performing ring and other jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp rep
