Jewelry Sales Representative (Account Manager)

Gesswein is looking for an experienced jewelry sales representative to manage existing accounts while developing new customers through our pre-generated leads. The sales representative will work from our main office and travel for customer visits and trade shows throughout the United States. This is a mid-level growth position reporting to the Vice President of Jewelry Sales for the Gesswein companies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years sales experience required
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and/or small parts molding and finishing industries preferred
- Strong computer skills are a must: email/ Excel/ Microsoft office/ web research/CRM
- Strong phone and email skills
- Exceptional Organizational Skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop a technical knowledge of our trade (training provided)
- Flexibility to travel to trade shows and sales appointments
- A college degree
Required Responsibilities:
- Increase sales by managing a defined sales territory of jewelry manufacturers, retailers and artisan accounts via personal visits, phone, and email
- Travel approx. 1 week per month for sales calls and trade shows
- Contact and develop new accounts through pre-generated leads
- Continually increase technical product knowledge to provide customers with solutions to problems
- Be an integral member of our jewelry sales team
- Maximize use of ERP and CRM systems to analyze sales and trends
- Work from our Bridgeport, CT office
