Gesswein is looking for an experienced jewelry sales representative to manage existing accounts while developing new customers through our pre-generated leads. The sales representative will work from our main office and travel for customer visits and trade shows throughout the United States.  This is a mid-level growth position reporting to the Vice President of Jewelry Sales for the Gesswein companies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years sales experience required
  • Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and/or small parts molding and finishing industries preferred
  • Strong computer skills are a must: email/ Excel/ Microsoft office/ web research/CRM
  • Strong phone and email skills
  • Exceptional Organizational Skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop a technical knowledge of our trade (training provided)
  • Flexibility to travel to trade shows and sales appointments
  • A college degree

Required Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales by managing a defined sales territory of jewelry manufacturers, retailers and artisan accounts via personal visits, phone, and email
  • Travel approx. 1 week per month for sales calls and trade shows
  • Contact and develop new accounts through pre-generated leads
  • Continually increase technical product knowledge to provide customers with solutions to problems
  • Be an integral member of our jewelry sales team
  • Maximize use of ERP and CRM systems to analyze sales and trends
  • Work from our Bridgeport, CT office
