Operations Specialist

Charles & Colvard Ltd., manufacturer of fine moissanite jewelry, is seeking an operations specialist to support all aspects of jewelry production. This role is responsible for focusing on the receipt and management of all incoming jewelry from manufacturers, assisting with the movement of jewelry in the ERP system, and assisting with day to day operations of the production & distribution department.
Required Qualifications:
- Jewelry experience a plus
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Detail oriented
- Ability to learn multiple job functions
- Strong mathematical and organizational skills
- Team oriented and self-motivated; able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Education: BA in Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience'
Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily activity within the vault including fulfillment of customer orders and product transfers, verifying incoming and outgoing material stored, assuring accuracy for physical counts.
- Daily receipts of incoming jewelry from manufactures.
- Assist with quality control of all jewelry inventory going into the vault.
- Assist with customer returns by receiving them in Navision after a passing quality assessment
- Supports the manufacturing of Jewelry through data entry including stone/component allocations.
- Supports the other departments of the business by way of Jira
- This position will be required as a job function to go through a metal detector before entering and after exiting the operations department
