How to plan for surviving and thriving in a recession

When a national radio show broadcasts the stock market results each day, background music is played, letting the listener know, just by a happy or gloomy tune, how the day went on Wall Street. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy to quickly grasp the direction of the country’s economy. Economists have varying views on what’s ahead and when the country might enter an economic slowdown or recession. Without a national crystal ball, it is up to consumers and businesses to forge ahead, with the understanding that a recession will come at some point—we just don’t know when.
