Karen ChristiansKaren Christians is the founder and creative director of Cleverwerx, a Waltham, Massachusetts–based business that provides personal instruction and also designs and sells high quality jewelry tools, equipment, kits, and books for metalsmiths of all levels. Previously she founded Metalwerx, a non-profit jewelry school in Waltham. Karen has written numerous articles for major trade magazines, lectured at industry events, taught workshops, and created her own jewelry and art. She is a past board member of the North American Society of Goldsmiths and holds a BFA with multiple honors from the Massachusetts College of Art.
