PROVIDENCE, RI-- MJSA/AJM Press, the award-winning trade book division of Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA), has announced the release of its newest publication: The AJM Guide to Lost-Wax Casting.

A one-stop resource for all areas of casting, this publication offers an abundance of best practices, handy tips, and troubleshooting techniques from leading industry experts. Many of the chapters were adapted from articles published in AJM Magazine, MJSA's award-winning monthly trade publication.

"With this collective wealth of expertise, the Guide will provide you with what it takes to get the perfect cast," said MJSA President/CEO James F. Marquart. "This latest installment from our publications division is testament to our commitment to educating the jewelry industry."

The Guide's 25 chapters cover extensive range of topics from creating trouble-free master models to building uniform trees to finding proper techniques for investing, burnout, and breakout. Also included are guides to stone-in-place casting, casting over 500 grams of platinum on one tree, and casting nickel-free white golds--as well as resource pages featuring casting supplies and services.

The cost of the book is $33.95, and is available through MJSA as well as leading industry distributors. (MJSA offers the book it its members at the discounted price of $27.95).
