MJSA Buyers' Guide Honored for Publication
Excellence
PROVIDENCE, RI -- Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers
of America's (MJSA) has won the Gold Award in the Membership
Directory category of the 23rd Annual Media Contest. The association
received the award--the competition's highest honor--for its
2003-04 Buyers Guide , a comprehensive and easy-to-use
resource that lists products and services provided by MJSA
members.
Re-designed in 2003, the Buyers' Guide features an
all-new grid format that sorts MJSA members into several categories:
finished fine and fashion goods; tools and equipment; component
parts; gemstones; displays and packaging; contract and business
services; and retail sales. It also offers complete contact
information for each company.
"The Buyers' Guide proves to be a resourceful tool
for the industry," said MJSA President/CEO James. F. Marquart. "With
a listing of the hundreds of services and products provided
by MJSA members, you have everything consolidated and easy
to locate in this valuable resource. The book remains one of
the industry's most trusted resources for manufacturers and
retailers in search of the best products, services, and supplies."
Formerly named the Association Trends Publication
Contest, the All Media Contest honors excellence in a wide
range of association communication techniques, including print,
Web sites, magazines, software programs, and promotional items.
More than 400 entries were submitted, with winners receiving
Gold, Silver, or Bronze awards. All recipients will be honored
at an awards banquet on Feb. 6 at the Capital Hilton in Washington,
DC.
All MJSA members receive a free copy of the
Buyers' Guide (which
is published biennially), and can purchase additional copies
