Providence, RI– Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers

Excellence in the fifteenth annual APEX Awards. The awards were
given to MJSA/AJM Press for At the Bench: An Illustrated
Guide to Working with Gold and Silver; to MJSA for most
improved Web Site; and to the association’s monthly magazine,
AJM, for overall excellence.
At the Bench is based on the popular AJM
magazine column of the same name and offers step-by-step instructions
on essential techniques for bench jewelry production. With more
than 200 color photographs, At the Bench is widely
praised by the industry and has won a Silver EXCEL Award from
the Society of National Association Publications. It was written
and photographed by Gregg Todd and Greg Gilman, of Stuller in
Lafayette, Louisiana.
The redesigned MJSA Online (www.mjsainc.com), which debuted
in January, offers a multitude of new features and services
to meet the needs of the jewelry industry. Among the new features
are the Buyers’ Guide Online search engine, which allows
buyers to directly e-mail suppliers and request more information
about products and services; an expanded government affairs
section with the latest legislative news and contact information;
and instant access to best-selling publications and technical
resources.
MJSA's award-winning flagship publication, AJM: The Authority
on Jewelry Manufacturing, is devoted solely to the manufacture
and sale of jewelry. AJM has won numerous awards over
the past several years, including two Awards of Distinction
in the Communicator Awards and a National and East Coast Regional
Award for Technical Articles from the American Society of Business
Publication Editors.
Sponsored by Communications Concepts Inc. in Springfield, Virginia,
the APEX Awards are judged by panel of communication experts
and based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content,
