Providence, RI– Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers
of America (MJSA) and The Ganoksin Project have joined forces
to create an information-sharing program that will expand the
availability of technical and business expertise for the jewelry
industry.
Under this agreement, the Ganoksin site (www.ganoksin.com)
will each month post information from AJM Magazine, MJSA’s
flagship monthly trade publication; topics will range from
bench tips (many from the magazine’s popular At the Bench
section) to volume manufacturing techniques to business and
marketing advice.
In addition, AJM Online (www.AJM-magazine.com)
will add information from the Ganoksin site—which includes
the popular Orchid forums (www.ganoksin.com/orchid)
and “Tips from the Jeweler’s Bench” online
library (www.ganoksin.com/borisat)—to
the offerings in the AJM Tech Tips searchable archive . The
archive allows searches to be conducted by keywords/topics,
enabling fast access to specific information.
“Given AJM’s reputation in the industry
for incisive, authoritative technical and business articles,
and Ganoksin’s reputation as one of the industry’s
pre-eminent online resources, this partnership seems only natural,”
says James F. Marquart, President/CEO of MJSA and Publisher
of AJM Magazine. “MJSA and AJM are dedicated
to ensuring jewelers have the knowledge they need to remain
competitive, and our collaboration with Ganoksin will greatly
help us to achieve this aim.”
Dr. E. Aspler (Hanuman) of Ganoksin said: “I
look forward to working with AJM to continue the growth of
The Ganoksin Project. I am very pleased that AJM has agreed
to take an active role in our global mission of fostering information
in the jewelry and metal arts fields globally.”
