of America (MJSA) has partnered with the Harmon Group, one
of the industry’s leading advertising and public relations
agencies, to offer discounted marketing/communication packages.
MJSA members will receive up to 50 percent savings on programs
ranging from ad placement in JCK magazine, to creation and
distribution of quarterly press releases, to the production
of catalogs and brochures.
Through the partnership with MJSA, the Harmon Group is offering
six specific yet flexible marketing programs, designed to fit

- JCK Magazine Advertorial: Members can purchase half-page
advertorials in JCK magazine running four times a year

production of four distinct advertorials at no extra cost.
Each advertorial will promote the participating MJSA member
with a brief product description, company profile, and
contact information.
Quarterly Press Release Program: Harmon will write press releases
and include photographic images, follow up with editors,
and provide quarterly review sheets showing those publications
that printed each release. Members receive $96,000 in potential
publicity for an annual fee of $2,720 (a quarterly cost of
$680).
- Product Photography Service: Harmon’s award-winning
photography department provides flat-rate discounted
pricing for all photography
and imaging needs.
- Catalog and Brochure Production: Harmon offers a 15 percent
discount on the production of any catalog or brochure,
with effective copy, strong imagery, and top-notch printing
to
enhance members’ products and services.
- Marketing Action Planning: MJSA member companies can
meet with one of Harmon’s senior planning directors to fully analyze
their markets and set achievable objectives and goals—all
at a 33 percent discount off the regular charge.
- Promotional Advertising Program: The Harmon Group will keep
participating MJSA members updated about any special offers
on promotional items (i.e., items given away at events, such
as plastic pens and bags), as well as provide a 15 percent
discount on all products listed at the regular price.
