MJSA offers several membership levels, based on type of operation, number of employees (or, for retailers, number of stores), and production volume.
Open to shops with three or fewer employees that do one-of-a-kind or limited production. Provides select MJSA informational benefits: free subscriptions to MJSA Journal and MJSA Custom Jeweler; free archived articles from both publications; discounts on all publications in the MJSA Bookstore; access to the MJSA Online Member Pages; and unlimited usage of the MJSA logo. Open to any operation engaged in or supporting professional jewelry making and design, including manufacturers, jewelers, suppliers, and artisans. Provides access to all MJSA benefits. Annual dues investment: Starting at $260, based on number of employees/stores and production volume. Standard members can also enroll individual divisions or retail branches as separate members. School MembershipOpen to any college, university, or trade school that offers courses in jewelry making and design. Provides access to all of the standard member benefits. Annual dues investment: $220.
Open to students enrolled in a jewelry making or design program at a college, university, or trade school. Provides access to all of the standard member benefits. Eligibility is limited to no more than four years and is dependent on students annually providing MJSA with copies of their student IDs, transcripts, or letters from their program advisors. Annual dues investment: $70.
