A 501(c)(3) non-profit subsidiary of the association, the MJSA Education Foundation supports programs that enhance the professional skills of jewelry makers and designers. In addition to sponsoring MJSA conFab and various seminars at industry trade shows, it provides informational resources to schools and, through its annual scholarship program, financial support to U.S. students. (Since 1997, the MJSA Education Foundation Scholarship Group has generated over $160,000 to nurture the next generation of jewelry makers and designers.)

In 2012, Lieberfarb and Novell Design Studio designed a strategic partnership.
