If you’re a designer, you know that feeling.
You’ve spent hours in the studio, pouring your skill and creativity into a new design, struggling to turn your vision into reality. Finally, you hold it in your hand—an innovative, finely crafted piece of jewelry that anyone would be proud to wear.
It’s a moment of immense satisfaction, of triumph—and you want everyone to know about it.
Now it’s time to receive the recognition you deserve.
Every year, the MJSA Vision Awards celebrate outstanding talent in the field of jewelry design. The winning designers represent the future of the jewelry manufacturing industry, and the Vision Awards competition showcases their creativity and boosts their careers. Some of the industry’s finest designers—Todd Reed, Mark Schneider, Steve Midgett, Lisa Krikawa, and many others—can point to a Vision Award among their exemplary credits.
MJSA ensures the Vision Award winners receive the recognition they deserve throughout the industry. We publicize their triumph through articles in MJSA Journal and in press releases distributed throughout the trade, and we help them to create promotions for their own targeted customers. We take out special full-page ads in such leading trade publications as Instore and Metalsmith magazines to feature their winning designs. We display their finely crafted pieces for thousands of buyers at MJSA Expo New York, and thousands more can see them for the entire year on our website.
We also make sure our winners can help continue their winning ways by providing cash prizes, gift certificates for tools and supplies (courtesy of Rio Grande), book packages, and, for students, scholarships funded by the MJSA Education Foundation.
