In addition to ensuring that public officials understand the interests of jewelry makers and designers, MJSA keeps its members well informed about federal and state legislative issues, new manufacturing guidelines, and trade issues.
Legislative e-alerts ensure MJSA members know when urgent federal or state bills are up for a vote, when trade regulations are being reviewed, or when governmental agencies are requesting comments about key decisions. MJSA also provides communications that help members explain their positions clearly, thoroughly and persuasively.
Members-only legislative updates provide the status of proposed state and federal laws, recent rulings on trade issues, and guidelines issued by federal agencies such as the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and others.
